What I love about Kent State: I really like how diverse and open Kent as a university is. The professors and students here are so welcoming. There has honestly never been a single moment where I felt out of place here, on top of that the fashion program here is the 5th best in USA which I think is really amazing.
Fun fact: I can draw and mostly illustrate at least 15 garments in a day. I was also in track and field in my school and the fastest runner in my neighborhood.

About me: Hey! I am an international student from Brazil double-majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. I’ve been at Kent State for around 3 years, and I’ll be graduating in the Spring. During my time at Kent State, I’ve had many different experiences and held several leadership positions on campus, so feel free to ask me about them. Hobbies: I love traveling and trying new cuisine from different places. And even though I don’t do it regularly, I also love dancing, exercising and ice skating.
What I love about Kent State: My favorite thing about Kent State is definitely how beautiful the campus is. I love seeing all different types of animals and nature when walking around. I also think it’s amazing how diverse the Kent State community is and how you can meet people from all around the world.
Fun fact: I have studied abroad in Florence, Italy during my time at Kent State.

What I love about Kent State: Kent State has been an incredible journey for me. Initially arriving as an exchange student, I felt a deep connection with the campus, my friends, and the supportive community. Even in challenging situations, I have always found help and encouragement. The university fosters a safe, welcoming environment perfect for both academic and personal growth. I especially enjoy the vibrant activities during the fall semester, which is one of the many reasons Kent State has become so dear to me. The beautiful campus, excellent location, and 24/7 safety support from Kent Police make this place feel like home. More than anything, Kent State provides a world-class education enriched by a positive and engaging community. Now I have become a permanent member of ºÚÁÏÍø for all those reasons.
