Dr. Tremie Gregory received her Ph.D. from Kent State's School of Biomedical Sciences Biological Anthropology Program in 2011. Since then, she has been working as a conservation biologist for the . Dr. Gregory and colleagues just published an important in Nature/Scientific Reports.
They set cameras up in the canopy to determine what role, if any, natural canopy bridges play in fragmented forests. Their findings highlight the importance of these canopy bridges for species survival, and note that there is virtually no costs to developers in maintaining these bridges in the sky.
