This family event has been a fixture in the Stow/Kent community for more than two decades, and we are thrilled to bring this event back and showcase our Airport and FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center to the community.
The A&E Expo offers a unique look into the Kent State Airport (1G3) and offers one-of-a-kind activities for both the young - and young at heart.
The A&E Expo weekend with kick off on Friday, September 9th. The weekend will begin with the Dick Schwabe Memorial Golf Scramble presented by Gulfstream and hosted by One Golf Three Alumni, shotgun start at 10:00 a.m., followed by the CAE Alumni and Friends Dinner and Awards Reception at 6:00 p.m.
The A&E Expo starts on Saturday, September 10th at 8:00 a.m., and will begin with a Pancake Breakfast where proceeds will benefit Scout Troop 177..
During the A&E Expo, we are proud to honor and recognize our Private Pilots at the inaugural Private Pilot Pinning Ceremony presented by Republic Airways at 11:00 a.m.
The event will feature vintage aircraft, airplane and flight simulator rides, and award-winning student organizations, including the Kent State High Power Rocket Team, the Kent State X-Bots, and the Flying Flashes.
