William Hocevar CSP, CIH is a certified safety professional and certified industrial hygienist, and a masters in chemistry with 20 years of experience in safety. Responsibilities include direct oversight of transportation, legal, worker compensation, commercial risk management, industrial hygiene, and EHS divisions. 

During his time at Great Lakes Construction, Bill has been chosen to speak at the national level for various organizations such as NUCO, AGC of America, and the Ohio Safety Congress.  Has been named Safety Professional of the year by The Greater Cleveland Safety Council, led his company to be named “America’s Safest Company” by EHS Today, been named The Best in the Nation for Safety Programs and Implementation by AGC of America four times, and won the Liberty Mutual Golden Fleet Award. 

Bill Chaired the Ohio’s AGC Safety Committee, holds a Board of Director seat for the Greater Cleveland Safety Council, has been appointed by the Ohio’s Speaker of the House to the Underground Technical Committee, is the Chair for the Construction Safety Council Alliance, and was on the Laborers Local 860 Apprentice Advisory Committee.
