Tracy Montgomery
Biography
Tracy Montgomery, Career Navigation Coordinator & Senior Career Advisor, Coordinates the Career Navigation course, including curriculum and instruction. She also provides career support that is open to all students and alumni.
She works very closely with the Exploratory community, veterans, and student-athletes.
In May 2023, she was chosen by graduate students to be the Keynote Speaker at ºÚÁÏÍø’s Higher Education Commencement ceremony. In September of 2022, she received the Spirit of University College Award, in which nominees are chosen by colleagues and recognized for contributions.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, writing, keeping up with all things sports-related, being a lover of the outdoors, and simply making people smile and laugh.
Tracy received her Bachelor’s degree in Language Arts from Eastern Michigan University in 2002. After enjoying her passion for teaching high school English for 11 years, she decided to follow her own advice that there is always more than one right career for everyone. In 2017, she received her Master’s degree from ºÚÁÏÍø and has been enjoying her passion for teaching at the collegiate level.
