Due to high demand and the availability of a well-qualified instructor and room, we are pleased to announce that we are able to add a 2nd section of Organic Chemistry (CHEM 30481) for Fall 2016:
Organic Chemistry (CHEM 30481-002); CRN 22790; Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 11:00-11:50am; Instructor: Dr. Pritha Subramanian
MWF lectures are in 216 Williams Hall
Thursday help sessions will be held in 111 Williams Hall
The availability of this class should now allow everyone who needs to take CHEM 30481 to add it to their Fall schedule. Please register as soon as possible, so that Dr. Subramanian can communicate with the class about any advanced preparations that may be needed prior to the first day of classes.
Since some students already enrolled in the MWRF 1:10-2:00pm section of CHEM 30481 may find this new section more convenient and may switch sections, it is possible that space might now open up in the original section, should anyone find that the original timeslot works better with their schedule.
Currently, there are a limited number of spaces available in CHEM 30475 Organic Chemistry I Lab. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of adding additional sections of this lab course due to the absence of lab space and staff; however, it is not a problem for students to take the lecture course now and delay the lab to a later semester.
If you have any questions, please contact Undergraduate Secretary Catherine Slapnicker (cslapni1@kent.edu), Dr. Subramanian (psubrama@kent.edu) or Dr. Sampson (psampson@kent.edu).
