East Liverpool – Students from Kent State East Liverpool’s occupational therapy assistant program and the physical therapist assistant program recently participated in outreach projects to help make the city a little brighter.
Students from the PTA program were part of the City Sweep event held during Earth Week. They swept sidewalks, pulled weeds and picked up litter all along the east end of Fourth Street and around the campus buildings.
OTA students gathered at the downtown entrance ramp to the city to help spruce up the “serpentine” landscape of that area by pulling weeds, raking mulch and picking up litter.
