Got Questions? We've got answers!
How do I participate?
Proceed in your vehicle to the intersection of Lincoln St. and Hilltop Drive, near the School of Fashion, on Wednesday, August 25th between the hours of 1:00-4:00 p.m. and you’ll be directed to our collection station(s) to unload items. The food drive is completely contactless, although assistance will be provided if necessary.
Will this be a safe opportunity?
This food drive will be “contactless,” meaning that participants will be able to drop off items while following all COVID-19 guidance and preventative measures.
Where will these items go?
All items will go to agencies as well as our very own Campus Kitchen, which provides hunger relief to KSU students, faculty and staff.
Who will be there?
Our Community Engaged Learning professional and student staff will be there as well as members of the Kent State Police Department and Parking Services staff to assist with operations and the flow of traffic.
Do you need volunteers, and how can I sign up?
We do need a small number of volunteers to assist with traffic flow and providing information to those driving through to donate.
To volunteer, please (login using your KSU Flashline credentials) and pick a time slot that works for you.
