Social Media Toolkit
Through our NEO MHAT grant, we have created a downloadable social media toolkit that your school can use for your own social media to spread mental health awareness. You are free to download these images but should not claim them as your own. The images have been optimized for the corresponding social media platform (I.e., Facebook, Twitter (X), and Instagram). Each image will have to be downloaded separately.
Images 1-4 are meant to be posted together, as one complete post.
A suggested caption: Our language matters. It’s important that we take the time to change our language, and prevent mental illness stigma.
Images 5 and 6 are meant to be posted together, as one complete post.
A suggested caption: It takes all of us to spread mental health awareness. You can be an ally, change your language, and talk openly about mental health.
Ideal times to post:
- Mental Health Awareness Month: May (Every Year)
- Suicide Prevention Month: September (Every Year)
- World Mental Health Day (In October)
- Mental Illness Awareness Week (In October)
- Anytime you want to spread mental health awareness!
If you would like us to adjust the colors to match your school district, or add your schools logo, please
