黑料网鈥檚 LaunchNET celebrated its 10th anniversary on Thursday and cut the ribbon on its new office suite in the Design Innovation Hub.
The unveiling was of the Burton D. Morgan Foundation Entrepreneurship Suite, which will serve as the new home for the business startup advising program that provides advice, guidance and workspace for fledgling entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and determine their viability.
Kent State President Todd Diacon spoke at the event, which also included a showcase of current and former student entrepreneurs, a gallery exhibit displaying LaunchNET鈥檚 impact over the past decade and a reception for guests.
LaunchNET recently moved its offices from its longtime home in the University Library on the Kent Campus into the space on the second floor of the DI Hub.
The business startup advising program helps students, faculty, staff and alumni pursue their entrepreneurial ventures by developing their ideas and determining their viability.
LaunchNET has served more than 2,100 clients in its first decade, most of whom are Kent State students, and boasts success stories across Northeast Ohio. Read more about the first decade of LaunchNET.
