ºÚÁÏÍø will hold its 14th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Jan. 28 at 4 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. The keynote speaker for the event is Joy-Ann Reid, national correspondent for MSNBC and author.
AT&T has made a $200,000 contribution to ºÚÁÏÍø’s Research Center for Educational Technology to implement new technology in special education environments with a focus on mobile apps, including those intended to help students learn science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Center is dedicated to providing the students, faculty and staff at ºÚÁÏÍø with education, training, support and resources that cater to the gender and sexual minority community and its allies.
ºÚÁÏÍø’s College of Podiatric Medicine will celebrate its centennial anniversary in 2016. Located in Independence, Ohio, it is one of nine accredited podiatry colleges in the United States and is a four-year, graduate-level medical college, granting the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
The new year always brings new resolutions, such as improved health and fitness. The Division of Human Resources and its wellness partners offer a host of wellness initiatives, such as Weight Watchers at Work, yoga, stress management workshops and more.
