Applications for the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) will be accepted from Jan. 22-Feb. 19. Faculty members are encouraged to share this information with their students. Students interested in developing critical thinking skills, working one-on-one with a faculty mentor, exploring their chosen career field and more should apply.
Students are offered a $2,800 stipend and residence hall housing, if needed. The eight-week experience runs from June 11-Aug. 3 on the Kent Campus. Students from all Kent State campuses are encouraged to consider this unique opportunity.
