Division of Research and Sponsored Programs Plans Transition From Coeus to Kuali Research

ºÚÁÏÍø’s Division of Research and Sponsored Programs will be transitioning from Coeus to an updated electronic research administration system – Kuali Research. The Kuali Research system is an electronic research administration tool from KualiCo and is based on Coeus, for which support will be ending. Kuali offers many improvements including:

  • A single Web-based interface for use by the entire Kent State community.
  • Robust proposal development and submission functionality with improvements to navigation and user experience.
  • Access to a comprehensive set of modules such as those which are currently available in Coeus, including those for proposal and award information.

More information on implementation and plans for training will be forthcoming as we near the go-live date in July 2016. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Burchard, director, Sponsored Programs, at 330-672-7946 or lburchar@kent.edu.
