Essential Skills for Handling Important Conversations (BC=1hr)

This training session is designed to equip participants with the tools, skills, and confidence needed to navigate emotional conversations successfully and professionally. Through interactive activities and practical exercises, participants will learn how to prepare for important conversations, anticipate and manage their own emotions, keep the conversation on-track, and maintain respectful and honest communication.
Learners will:
* Apply active listening skills when conducting important conversations?
*Demonstrate solid planning skills by completing the planning worksheet?
*Anticipate, label and manage their own emotional reactions that can derail a conversation?
*Practice ways to deflect “derailing” attempts?
Prerequisite: 'Foundations of Communications' session for supervisors must be completed prior to attending this session.
