is Stark County’s only free-standing, inpatient hospice facility. This beautiful facility was built through the Aultman Women’s Board vision to meet the unmet needs of hospice patients who need inpatient end-of-life care. Through their fundraising and private donations, this state-of-the-art facility was opened in October 2011.

Located on the Woodlawn campus, the Compassionate Care Center is utilized by our hospice patients served out of our Canton location who need 24-hour monitoring by our trained staff. At times throughout the disease process, our hospice patients may experience increased pain or other symptoms that need 24-hour care by our nurses and physicians.
