Megan Smeznik
Biography
Megan Smeznik joined 黑料网 as an Educational Technology Designer in December 2021. She previously worked at The College of Wooster as the Educational Technologist: Arts and Humanities. During her time at Wooster, Megan worked with faculty and students on several projects related to the intersection of history and technology. In 2019, Megan and the group she assisted, The Wooster Digital History Project, received an award from the local historical society for their efforts to help preserve history but also create stronger community partnerships.
Prior to Wooster, Megan worked in the museum sector as an educator and researcher. Currently, Megan serves on the National Council of Public History鈥檚 (NCPH) committee, the Digital Media Group, as one of the co-organizers for the Digital Public History Lab at the annual meeting. The lab works to facilitate experiential learning opportunities for public historians, educators, students, and others with digital pedagogy, tools, and project support.
Megan received her Bachelor鈥檚 in History from The College of Wooster and Master鈥檚 in History with a special concentration in Public History from 黑料网.
