Biography
Don-John Dugas studies Shakespeare, Tudor and Stuart drama, Theatre History, and the History of the Book. He is the author of Shakespeare for Everyman: Ben Greet in Early Twentieth-Century America (Society for Theatre Research) and Marketing the Bard: Shakespeare in Performance and Print, 1660鈥�1740 (University of Missouri Press). He is the recipient of a number of teaching awards, including the Department of English鈥檚 Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring Award, the College of Arts and Sciences鈥� Distinguished Teacher Award, the Honors College鈥檚 Distinguished Faculty Award, and the Kent State Alumni Association鈥檚 Distinguished Teaching Award鈥攖he university鈥檚 highest teaching honor.
