David Pratt currently serves as Associate Vice President of Philanthropy and Chief Philanthropy Officer for the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. In this role, David leads the university’s strategic fundraising initiatives, overseeing a team dedicated to leadership gifts, planned giving and corporate and foundation relations. He works closely with university leadership, donors and corporate partners to align philanthropic efforts with Kent State's strategic priorities, ensuring impactful, long-term support for the institution.

David began working at ºÚÁÏÍø in 2024, marking his return after serving from 2007 to 2012 as Director of Advancement for the College of Nursing. He holds a B.S.B.A. degree in Marketing from John Carroll University and brings over two decades of experience in higher education advancement, including leadership positions at Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University.
