New students for Fall 2023 are invited to join us at an Open House this summer before classes begin in August.
At an Open House, you will have the opportunity to meet our helpful faculty, staff and students. You'll be able to find your classrooms, register your vehicle to receive your parking permit, purchase your textbooks, and so much more!
Take a guided tour to explore campus and be sure to accomplish the remaining items on your New Student Checklist.
FALL OPEN HOUSES - TWO DATES!
- Thursday, Aug. 3: 1 - 3 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 14: 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
New students should check their Kent State email to register.
There will be swag and resources to walk away with, so don't miss out!
CHECK-IN
Check in the Main Hall Lobby. Staff will help direct you.
PARKING
Park in the main student parking lot S101, near the Frank Avenue entrance. If you need help visualizing where you may be coming from, check out our campus map.
AVAILABLE SERVICES
We invite you to visit the following services which will be open during the event:
- Resource Fair: learn about our student support services and resources
- Bookstore: purchase your textbooks
- Recreation & Wellness Center: register to use the facility
- Flash Bistro: get information about campus dining
- Parking Services: register your vehicle and receive your parking permit
- Advising & Financial Aid: have your questions answered
