Kristan manages the day-to-day responsibilities of coordinating all division level marketing and communication efforts. She develops and implements the marketing plan to support the mission and priorities of the Division of Student Affairs, including the Vice President's office programs and initiatives. In addition, she oversees the division's social media accounts, website, podcast, communications efforts, and support services. Support services include website management and coordination of graphic design requests for the 25+ departments, offices, and units within the division. In this role, she also provides consultation to all division units for the development, implementation, and evaluation of their strategic marketing plans.

Kristan joined the Vice President's office in September 2020.  Prior to that, she worked as a marketing professional for over 15 years with the Center for Student Involvement (Kent State), Kent State Athletics, the Cleveland Indians and multiple minor league baseball teams.

Born and raised in Chardon, OH (east side suburb of Cleveland), Kristan is an eternally optimistic, die-hard Cleveland sports fan and mom of two boys, Rocco and Dominic.
