LEADERSHIP TUSCARAWAS SEEKS APPLICANTS FOR THE 2023-2024 CLASS

Leadership Tuscarawas is accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Signature Program class through July 7, 2023.  The class fills up fast, so early application is strongly recommended.

The program focuses on developing the growth of participants as community leaders through interaction with local decision-makers and classmates representing diverse and unique perspectives.  Group interaction, teamwork, and collaborative community-based projects are important components of the overall experience.

The Signature Class begins with an intensive two-day opening retreat at Mohican Lodge and Convention Center, August 17 and 18, 2023. Following the retreat, participants spend one full day per month for the next nine months addressing specific aspects of the community in interactive program days.  Sessions are held at various locations around the county, providing participants with a broader understanding of our area as well as interacting with key community business and civic leaders.

In addition to the community-based focus of the program, participants also experience over thirty leadership development training modules that are designed to enhance their understanding of contemporary leadership practices in order to improve their performance at their place of employment.  Examples of professional development topics include servant leadership, emotional intelligence, multi-sensory learning, personality style assessment, diversity leadership, leading change, personal and business ethics and influence/persuasion to name just a few.

Individuals who live and/or work in Tuscarawas County may apply. Tuition is $2,000. Application and additional information can be found at /tusc/bcs/leadership-tuscarawas.
