Africana Studies is located in Oscar Ritchie Hall. In 2008, the entire interior of the building was completely rebuilt with the exception of the theatre, which was already renovated.
The entire interior was removed and a new floor plan was designed to meet today's modern needs.

Oscar Ritchie Hall is the hub of academic life for African-Americans and other students at Kent State.
