Facilities/Ceramics

The Ceramics Studio is located in the new Center for the Visual Arts in room 007. The complex includes two large communal work areas: hand-building and wheel-throwing, as well as a clay mixing room and glazing room. Faculty and several graduate student studio spaces constitute another large portion of the interior space. Multiple areas for drying and staging of ware in progress are provided for undergraduates and graduate alike. The program offers a large selection of both electric and gas kilns.
