KENT, Ohio – The ºÚÁÏÍø College of Business Administration announces Tasha Eurich, Ph.D., New York Times bestselling author, as keynote speaker for the 2021 Spirit of Women in Business Conference. Eurich will present, "Powering Up: How Self-Awareness Helps Women" based on her latest book, .
Rather than hosting a day-long event as in years past, this year's event will feature a different speaker discussing a topic of interest at 11 a.m. each Friday in March. Eurich's keynote will start the conference off on Friday, March 5.
Eurich is an industrial-organizational psychologist and researcher. This scientific approach to understanding human behavior, coupled with her pragmatic approach to professional development, has earned Eurich her reputation; Thinkers50 named her as one of the top 30 emerging management thinkers in the world and a top 50 World Leader in Coaching. In addition, she was ranked #13 on the GlobalGurus list of organizational cultural experts.
Eurich’s areas of expertise are executive coaching, executive team development, leadership and high-potential development programs. The annual Spirit of Women in Business Conference brings together women from diverse professional backgrounds.
This year's conference will begin on March 5 with a keynote address from Eurich. Additional speakers include Jamie Maniloff, Assistant Manager, Chevrolet Global Content Operations on March 12; Rose Crane, Member, Board of Directors of Teva Pharmaceuticals and Member, Board of Directors of Catalent Pharma Solutions on March 19 and Michelle Settecase, Associate Director, EY on March 26. The 2020 Spirit of Women in Business award winner, Shampa Banerjee, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer for PlutoTV at Viacom CBS, will be honored at the March 12 event. The 2021 Spirit of Women in Business award winner, Grace Wakulchik MBA ’96, President and CEO of Akron Children’s Hospital, will be honored at the March 19 event.
All events are free. During the registration process, attendees can choose to attend all of the speaker events or attend the events that fit in their schedule.
