Jimmal Ball
Biography
Ball is the Academic Diversity Outreach Coordinator and Academic Diversity Officer for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. His office is in Kent on main campus. Ball's assigned advisees are all Finance majors. In his Academic Diversity Officer role he serves as a student advocate, academic advisor, and liaison of matters concerning diversity between the University and the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
Ball is the staff advisor for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship student organization “The Network”, is responsible for the MAPS mentor program and also instructs a section of the First Year Experience course.
Ball graduate from the University of Akron. He is currently pursuing his Masters’ degree in Sports Administration at Kent State. He lived in Europe and for 14 years and competed as a professional basketball player before being employed at Kent State.
