The focus of this year’s symposium, Neuroscience of the Healthy Brain, is inspired by the newly created Brain Health Research Institute at , whose mission is to improve our understanding of brain function in health, disease, and repair- /brain-health. With over 80 faculty members across 8 colleges and 20 departments who are committed to advancing science, as well as training the next generation of researchers, the Brain Health Research Institute is uniquely positioned to make significant advances in our understanding of the healthy brain as well as identifying potential pathways that may help restore function that has been impaired by neurologic injury or disease.
