The Certified Business Advisor® (CBA) is an on-demand, self-paced eLearning certification program specially designed for professionals who advise small business owners.
The Senior Guest Program at ºÚÁÏÍø allows Ohio residents age 60 years and older to attend regular university classes tuition-free on a space-available basis.
A series of 3-day train-the-trainer workshops will be provided to high school teachers from Northeast Ohio and the surrounding region as part of the workforce development program for high school students. The high school teachers will be trained in a curriculum that will be a meaningful experience in preparing students to become aircraft pilots and/or unmanned aircraft systems operators. As part of their training, the teachers will be given the opportunity to earn a Part 107 Remote Pilot Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Certificate through in class and online training. All workshops will be held at the Kent State campus and airport.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn digital knitting and programming of the Stoll industrial knitting machines. They will gain a foundational understanding of stitches and how to program them on Create Plus software. Using industrial knitting machines, participants will master fundamentals like required threading set up and machine maintenance.
This course is designed to assist those who will be taking the National Environmental Health Association Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian Credential Exam, in their studies and review of pertinent material for the exam. It has narrated review lectures, resources, and practice exam questions available as part of the course. The course includes hundreds of practice exam questions that cover all of the exam content areas.
The course covers the steps that state, local and tribal health departments are required to take to prepared for and meet the PHAB accreditation standards. It is intended for PHAB coordinators and other health department staff involved in the accreditation process. In addition to explaining the prerequisites and accreditation requirements the course provides access to other PHAB resources.

Our Industrial Robotics Laboratory is equipped with fenceless FANUC industrial robots and classroom computers have FANUC Robotics ROBOGUIDE simulation software and teach pendants available for students to learn how to program. ºÚÁÏÍø owns and offers training to the public on FANUC robots. This course covers the tasks that an operator, technician, engineer or programmer needs to set up and program a FANUC Robotics HandlingTool Software Package. Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Programmable Logic Controllers Studio 5000 Logix Designer Basics certificate of completion.
Registered participants will be provided with online modules up to two weeks prior to the training. In-person, hands-on 32-hour training will consist of approximately 15 laboratory exercises. In addition to lab exercises, a pre-test and post-test are used to measure mastery of objectives. A fully online training program that is required for access to the ºÚÁÏÍø Cleanroom Research and Prototyping facility.
Located in the LCM building, the Cleanroom facility includes tools for device fabrication (such as liquid crystal displays) with a range of equipment including spin reactive ion etch, metal evaporation systems (DC and RF sputter, e-beam, thermal), wet chemical stations, photolithography, and surface analysis tools. Registrants will have access to the online course for two weeks.
By combining art studio activities with discussions of art as it relates to different time periods and cultures, students come to better understand the world of art. Students are organized by cross-age groupings and work with a variety of media to develop their individual art skills. Art Enrichment is a student teacher education program at ºÚÁÏÍø.
