The School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration recently hosted guest speaker Bob DiBiasio, senior vice president of Public Affairs with the Cleveland Guardians, who shared his experiences in the sports industry with students in the M.A.C.C Annex. DiBiasio spoke with Sports Administration (SPAD) and Hospitality and Event Management students from an array of classes in conjunction with the school's SPAD student organization, and Sport and Entertainment Association.
Bob has been a member of the Cleveland Guardians' front office for 45 years and played an extensive role serving as the team spokesperson, ambassador, head of the Alumni Association and serving as President of Guardians Charities. He also serves as the President of the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame.
Bob is well known throughout the sports industry and eagerly shared his success and knowledge with Kent State students.
