Principals' Integration of Information and Computer Technology (ICT) in Saudi Arabia K-12 Schools: Opportunities and Challenges 

This qualitative study investigated how administrators in primary through secondary schools in Saudi Arabia infuse Information and Computer Technology into their educational leadership. Applying interview, observations, and document analysis, the research revealed how ICT transforms administrative issues into solutions. This project examined the integration experiences among school principals whose institutions had made intentional technology integration. With participants from diverse economic and social environments, the study revealed significant opportunities for improvement through enhanced communication processes, modern educational practices, and better-controlled administrative processes. The study identified three primary hurdles: scarcity of resources, inadequate infrastructure, and poor professional training for teachers. The study had four participants (Principals from rural and urban environments) who completed the questionnaires and were interviewed. The study revealed that the school administrators can scale the teamwork needed for lasting change, which is a much-needed area. Research shows that much-needed institutional support can be achieved through policy-supported strategic interventions and trademarked tools with training. The research study outcomes are essential guidelines for all the stakeholders who need to use technology better in school administration to give the best educational results

My name is Eman Aljuaidan. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, having worked as a teacher in Saudi Arabia. My research interests lie in the field of education, aligning with my experience. I am currently defending my Ph.D. dissertation in educational leadership at the College of Education, Health, and Human Services, specializing in leadership that can drive education reform and innovation. I am also a holder of a Master's Degree in Education in Administration from Texas, where I gained strong insights into educational leadership and administration. 

Throughout my career, I have contributed to developing teachers and improving administrative systems. I am deeply committed to supporting leaders who reform education and transition schools into digital learning environments. These initiatives lay the foundation for my professional mission, mainly to better engage with different education groups, given that I come from a higher education background in the United States. I strongly believe that effective educational leadership requires balancing students' emotions and the learning environment. I seek to ensure that students feel comfortable in a classroom that utilizes a diverse educational technology. 

I am pleased to work with educational leaders in the U.S. to bring these skills to the forefront and help guide schools in Saudi Arabia toward tremendous success. I am also eager to contribute to K-12 leadership through ongoing interactions with my students, ensuring they receive the best guidance and support possible. Ultimately, through my work, I aim to foster a clear vision for educational institutions, enhancing student outcomes and providing the necessary support for teachers. I am passionate about continuous learning and look forward to working with other professionals in educational leadership to drive positive change.
