I am excited to be part of the Vacca Office of Student Services at EHHS as an Academic Advisor I. My career in education began at the Six District Educational Compact A.B.L.E. program at Kent City Schools where I worked in adult education and English as a Second Language before I became an undergraduate at ºÚÁÏÍø. I completed my B.A. in Communication Studies in 2012 as a non-traditional student. While pursuing my degree, I was a student worker in the School of Foundations, Leadership and Administration at the College of EHHS. It was here that I discovered I loved working among the amazingly talented and diverse faculty and students in higher education. I was hired shortly after graduation by Kent State’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry as a Senior Secretary in the undergraduate office.

I look forward to this new chapter as an advisor for undergraduate students in Sports Administration, Hospitality and Event Management, and Recreation, Park and Tourism Management. I believe in helping students achieve their dreams by being a dependable source of support and guidance through their unique journeys.

My interests outside of higher education include gardening, going on adventures with my dogs, creative writing, all things music, art, theater and comedy, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns, Cavs, Guardians and Kent State’s Flashes!
