Your Kent State ID Number is a unique 9-digit number that begins with an "8." Kent State uses this number to identify all faculty, staff and students within the university. Various departments, including Payroll, Benefits and Employee and Academic Records, use this number to associate their records with you. Locate your Kent State ID Number by logging into FlashLine and selecting the profile image to access the My Profile page. For security reasons, do not share this number with anyone.

Please note that beginning July 1, there will be several changes regarding Mail Services operations.
First, the department will have new hours, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., which means Mail Services will open and close a half-hour later than before.
The change also means that many departmental delivery and pick-up times will be a half-hour later than normal, but the new schedule will better align with the U.S. Post Office hours and the university’s business hours.

The events of May 4, 1970, placed in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, Kent State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
