The Bookstore has announced its fourth annual Holiday Giving Tree Program. A tree is set up at the entrance to University Bookstore located in the Kent Student Center. Each ornament on the tree represents a boy or girl who is living in transitional housing in Portage County.
The Allerton Apartment Complex went through its final phase of demolishment at the end of August. The process of closing the apartment complex has been going on since 2005. Buildings A, B, C and D were the final buildings to be razed.

President Beverly Warren delivered her first State of the University address on Nov. 19 in the Kent Student Center Kiva. Kent State faculty, staff, students and members of the community were invited to attend the event, which was themed “Celebrating Today, Imagining Tomorrow.”
