The Department of Geography is currently housed in the hollow halls of McGilvrey Hall. Our stately building was constructed in 1939, so is one of the first buildings on campus. Our department was founded in the fall of 1913. I started my position as the Geography Secretary in the fall of 2006 and enjoy meeting so many wonderful students and seeing their success at the university. You don't have to be a Geographer or Environmental Studies student to stop in and say "Hi."
