(LUH) is located in Hannover, Germany, a city with much to offer: museums, a professional soccer team, a fireworks competition, and various festivals. From Hannover one can reach cities like Berlin, Bremen and Hamburg by train in less than 2 hours. For a long weekend one can plan trips to Denmark, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic. At the heart of the campus of the University of Hannover lies the impressive Welfen Castle, built for King George V of Hannover. This famous landmark houses central administrative and student services as well as a couple academic departments. LUH offers a broad range of courses in English, including architecture and landscape science, urban planning, English language and literature, teaching English as a second language, business, finance, marketing, economics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, optics, geoinformatics, and law.
