3D Printers
Our 3D printers are available for all faculty, staff, and students to use.
Equipment: Bambu Lab A1 Combo
Description: Our Bambu Labs A1 Combo offers a build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm³ and supports multi-color printing with its Automatic Material System (AMS), allowing up to four colors in a single print. Print files can be loaded via SD card, or you can slice and print directly from the Bambu Studio app—no SD card required. A MacBook Pro is available in the lab to help with file finding, editing, and slicing.

The lab has currently has 18 different colors of PLA+ that can be used to print with.
Printer Policy:
Reserving Printers:
- Printers must be reserved through our booking page.
- Reservations are 30 minutes to allow time for an introduction to the 3D printers, prepping files, and starting the print, however, but prints can be longer than the reserved time.
- Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Failed Prints:

Print Pickup:
- Payment for prints must occur before printing can begin
Staff Assistance:
- Lab staff must look over sliced file before printing can begin
- Lab staff can assist in basic troubleshooting and print settings
- Lab staff cannot make or edit print files
