Cleveland Orchestra Talents Perform With Kent State Music Professor for Third Kent/Blossom Music Festival Faculty Series

Kent/Blossom Music Festival, the summer chamber music intensive at ’s Hugh A. Glauser School of Music, continues its 2012 Faculty Concert Series

Glauser School of Music, continues its 2012 Faculty Concert Series on Wednesday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Ludwig Recital Hall on the Kent Campus.  Ludwig Recital Hall is in the Music and Speech Building on 1325 Theatre Dr. Parking is free.

The concert, titled “Romance and Rhapsodies,” will feature the talents of The Cleveland Orchestra’s first associate concertmaster Peter Otto, first assistant principal cellist Richard Weiss, keyboard principal Joela Jones, assistant principal viola Stanley Konopka, along with Kent/Blossom Music’s co-artistic coordinator and principal oboe of the Erie Philharmonic Danna Sundet.

The evening’s program includes Three Romances by Clara Schumann, Two Rhapsodies by Loeffler and B major Piano Trio by Brahms.
