The 2013 Press Catalog, designed by Darryl Crosby, has won an Award of Excellence in the Great Lakes Graphics Association’s Graphics Excellence Competition.
The catalog, printed by Ripon Printers in Wisconsin, earned second place in the Web Press Printing-Uncoated Paper (four or more colors) Heatset category in 2012-13 printing competitions.
The Graphics Excellence Awards honor companies that demonstrate superb craftsmanship in creating visual artistry.
“The best thing about an award like this is the visibility it gives to the University Press as a whole and to ,” says Crosby, ’92, ‘04, assistant publication production manager with the Press. “The effort and quality we put into our catalog is indicative of the care and attention to detail we put in all of our publications, not just visually but editorially as well.”
