The Stress-Free Zone returns to the Library on Monday, May 9, and Tuesday, May 10, from 3 - 5 p.m. to give students a break from studying for finals. The much-loved Dogs on Campus Pet Therapy Program® will be back once again, and snacks and beverages will be provided.
Karen Hillman, director of marketing, communications and public relations for University Libraries, said the Stress-Free Zone is one of the most popular events for students.
“Students are encouraged to take a break from their studies, pet the dogs and enjoy popcorn and beverages,” Hillman said. “Even passers-by can’t help but smile at the dogs.”
Kent State students will be able to participate in multiple activities that include coloring books and crafts. The Student Multimedia Studio will have a 3-D pen demonstration where participants can create a miniature daisy flower. There will be a 3-D printer and Leap Motion software on display as well.
The University Library will be open 24 hours during finals week.
