Through a partnership between and Ohio State University, the Research Center for Educational Technology is excited to announce a free summer technology camp for fourth, fifth and sixth graders. This camp will be held June 17-20 in the AT&T Classroom located at Moulton Hall on the Kent Campus. The first 25 participants registered for “Lights! Camera! Action! Let’s Make a PSA!” will have their fee waived.
During the camp, students will explore the importance of nutrition while developing their skills in technology and communications. Students will create individual and group public service announcements about nutrition that will be used by Ohio State’s Expanded Food and Nutrition Program to teach other youth the importance of healthy eating habits. This opportunity was made possible from financial support provided by Buckeye Community Health.
For registration information or to find out more information about this camp and other summer camps offered by the Research Center for Educational Technology, contact Candice McDonald, program coordinator, at cmcdon16@kent.edu.
