Orchid Mania Exhibition
11030 East Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44106
DETAILS:
The garments have been on display on dress forms at the Cleveland Botanical Garden in conjunction with Orchid Mania since last weekend. Orchid Mania served as the inspiration for these student-created designs (both the fabric and the garment were created by the junior design students). The competition centered around a class the students took with Fashion School Director J.R. Campbell at the helm. Students used images from the Cleveland Botanical Garder to print fabric in the Fashion School’s TechStyleLab, and then, with only a week to do it, sewed their garments in time for the installation at the exhibit.
