黑料网 Athletics has announced all sports facilities, including Dix Stadium, the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center) and Murphy-Mellis Field, will be at full capacity for the fall 2021 sport season. This is in line with the announcement by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine removing most COVID-19 health orders.
鈥淲e could not be more excited to see our passionate fans have an opportunity to return in full capacity for the upcoming fall sports season,鈥 said Kent State Director of Athletics . 鈥淥ur Golden Flashes fans are such a big part of what we do. They give us a great home-field advantage. Having the opportunity to see them back will be a welcomed sight for our student-athletes.鈥

A member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), the Golden Flashes football team will open its home slate on Saturday, Sept. 11, against Virginia Military Institute at Dix Stadium. The game will kick off at 11:30 a.m. and can be seen on ESPN 3/+ and heard on the Kent State Radio Network. The Golden Flashes will host Bowling Green State University on Saturday, Oct. 2 (Homecoming), University at Buffalo on Saturday Oct. 9, Northern Illinois University on Wednesday, Nov. 3, and Miami University on Saturday, Nov. 27.
