Since 2012, the Center has hosted two conferences on the 黑料网 main campus.
Humanitarian Dilemmas Conference
A two-day conference, entitled 鈥淗umanitarian Dilemmas: Debating Interventions in Africa and the Middle East,鈥 hosted by the center, April 5-6, 2012. This conference, supported by the College of Arts and Sciences, brought together many KSU faculty as well as regional and national experts on North Africa, West Africa, and the Middle East to discuss the costs and benefits of NATO鈥檚 operations in Libya, and the possibility of future humanitarian interventions in Syria and Mali. The conference included an evening debate over the 鈥渓imits of humanitarian interventions鈥 between Juan Cole from the University of Michigan and Sean Kay from Ohio Wesleyan University.

21st Century Challenges Conference
A one day conference entitled NATO鈥檚 21st Century Challenges: Ukraine, Afghanistan, and the Human Aspect of the Operational Environment. The conference was cohosted with Gregory Moore of Notre Dame. Speakers included experts from the intelligence community and academics.
