Programs in German
Ranging from elementary German study through a Master's degree, programs in German offer students the opportunity for in-depth study of the language and culture of the German-speaking countries, as well as translation from German into English.

Kaffeestunde (German Coffee Hour)
The department and the German faculty sponsor a German coffee hour (Kaffeestunde). Held weekly during regular semesters, Kaffeestunde is open to students of German at all levels, as well as friends of the German program. Refreshments are offered free of charge and at least one faculty member and one graduate student will be present for chat and conversation practice. German goodies are frequently served.
Study Abroad
Through the University's Office of Global Education, students may participate in an exchange program with the Technical University of Dresden or the University of Leipzig.
