A recent publication in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association by Dr. Mary Beth Spitznagel, a professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, and her research collaborators found that their intervention called 鈥淯nburdened鈥 is effective when delivered as an asynchronous training course. Over the past 15 years, the College of Public Health has developed outstanding partnerships with the local public health departments in Northeast Ohio and beyond. According to Sonia Alemagno, Ph.D., dean of the College of Public Health, the College and local public health departments share a mission to improve the health in our communities, making it both efficient and effective to share the talent of existing and emerging public health professionals.
