Inesh Fulton knows what it means to be a college student. He's getting involved on campus, playing sports and joining clubs. He is enrolled in the Career and Community Studies program, a non-degree transitional program offered through the School of Lifespan Development and Family Sciences.
Nick Valentine always imagined himself working for Disney. A quick study in the Career and Community Studies program, Nick Valentine completed his certificate in hospitality and event management in just three years. Nick also had the distinct pleasure of being the first CCS student to participate in 黑料网鈥檚 commencement ceremony.
For Ryan Higgins, pizza isn't just food鈥攊t鈥檚 a passion. Whether he's perfecting the art of making it or simply enjoying a great slice, his love for pizza runs deep. It should come as no surprise to learn that Ryan鈥檚 Career and Community Studies concentration was food service.
One of Erin Hawley鈥檚 favorite memories at Kent State was singing at karaoke night. Staged by the Flash Activities Board, the event packs students into then Quaker Steak and Lube, now Tahini鈥檚 in The Rathskeller, where they belted out original tunes to the delight, or displeasure, of classmates. Erin鈥檚 favorite go-to ballads were original songs.
After graduating from Peters Township High School in Pittsburgh, Abigail 鈥淎bbey鈥 Donina had to choose between two universities: Slippery Rock in Butler County, Pennsylvania, or Kent State. So, she did what most students do and toured both campuses. Abbey then toured the Kent Campus during the Career and Community Studies Open House.

Inesh Fulton is discovering exactly what it means to work as a digital marketer. He began working part-time as a digital marketing intern in the EHHS Marketing and Communications office in White Hall.
