Queer Britain opened as the UK鈥檚 first LGBTQ museum in London in May and its inaugural exhibition 鈥淲e Are Queer Britain鈥 won a Museums Change Lives Award (Best Small Museum Project) in November from the UK-based Museums Association. This first installation featured The Queer鈥

A standing-room-only crowd gathered to hear Kent State alumna Mahtab Tehrani, Ph.D., and first-year student Goli Kavoosi, discuss how the denial of human rights in Iran impacts us all and the tangible actions that Americans can take to help.
The Women's Center, in collaboration with Wick Poetry, School of Peace and Conflict Studies, May 4th Visitor Center, The Society of Global Cultures and the May 4th Task Force will be hosting a discussion about the protests in Iran. The conversation will feature Dr. Mahtab鈥
