Flash of Darkness: Kent State Celebrates Total Eclipse of the Sun

It was a party 218 years in the making.

The thousands of people who came to ºÚÁÏÍø on April 8 to witness the total solar eclipse did not leave disappointed by the celestial show, the likes of which had not been seen in Kent, Ohio since 1806.

Dress Up for Downs, a Kent State student organization recently held its 8th annual fashion show fundraiser . The event, themed "Hollywood Heroes," featured a runway show with designs by Kent State fashion design students and raised over $3000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio.
