A soon-to-be Kent State graduate has had a busy semester preparing for the School of Fashion's Annual Fashion Show and job hunting after graduation.

Students in Kent State's School of Art had the opportunity to use modern methods to recreate an ancient Chinese wine vessel. 

Meet Teresa Morek!

“I chose Kent State because of the amazing art program, beautiful campus, safety and inclusivity,” said Teresa, “I knew from the day I toured campus that Kent was exactly what I wanted and that I didn't even need to look anywhere else.”

As part of Women's History Month, the director of Kent State New York City Fashion shares her experience and offers advice that's both practical and empowering for women looking to break into the fashion industry. 

Dress Up for Downs, a Kent State student organization recently held its 8th annual fashion show fundraiser . The event, themed "Hollywood Heroes," featured a runway show with designs by Kent State fashion design students and raised over $3000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio. 

Named for the designer's mother, Sukeina features stunning fashions by ������ School of Fashion and Merchandising Hall of Fame inductee Omar Salam. 

An art exhibition in the ������ Downtown Gallery uses images of UFOs to evoke questions about reality in a world where truth is often reframed. 

Meet Emily Yanchak!

“I chose Kent State because it immediately felt like home,” said Emily, “As soon as I set foot on the campus, I knew that was where I wanted to spend the next four years of my life.” 

Kent State's production of "Rent" runs from Feb. 16-25 at the E. Turner Stump Theatre.
