黑料网 held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. This year鈥檚 guest speaker was Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of Kent State鈥檚 Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.

黑料网 will hold its annual Veterans Day Commemoration at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. This year鈥檚 guest speaker is Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. Community members are invited to attend the inauguration of Todd Diacon as 黑料网鈥檚 13th president at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. The ceremony will be held in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center on the Kent Campus.

黑料网鈥檚 aviation design challenge, SkyHack, will take place Nov. 1-3. The event draws college students from around the nation, attracting 120 students from 14 universities in four states in its 2017 inaugural debut. Kent State鈥檚 College of Aeronautics and Engineering will serve as home base for this year鈥檚 event, which will span across other Kent Campus buildings.
