Jason Werstler, a 2001 ºÚÁÏÍø graduate who majored in education, is one of 25 teachers across the nation who were recently recognized for teaching excellence. He teaches construction at Massillon Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio.

Whether it’s related to transportation challenges or helping them sort through the red tape of documentation, Hightower, a ºÚÁÏÍø graduate, is creating solutions to streamline the process for Summit County residents.

Kent State alumna Jennifer N. Schuller has been named president of Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. She is the first woman to lead the institution in 75 years.
